About me...

Amongst a myriad of specialists, therapists, coaches and more, you naturally want to know as best possible whom/ which company to approach.
Who is going challenge you, cheer for you when needed and manage a process that adds value for yourself or your business.

I am a graduated NLP (Neuro Lingusitic Programming) Leadership Master Practitioner Coach, hold an Executive Masters degree in Management and have over the past 3 years completed subjects within Positive Psychology, Personal Resilience, Design Thinking and Talent Management

I have enjoyed a long and versatile career within HR and Career Counseling, and thereby have a solid experience in helping people with / in dealing with changes and challenges professionally and personally.

I am married, have 4 children, live in Stavanger and spend most of my spare-time with my children in their activities and interests.

I get a lot of inspiration and energy from spending time with family and friends, meditation, outdoor activities and keeping fit. In 2019, I challenged myself to participate in 5 OCR races and  started doing indoor climbing (having suffered from fear of heights in my entire adult life!). These activities have become a major drive in promoting my own health and life quality.

During my career I have been involved in prosperous times and challenging times.  I have been part of  downsizing processes and worked a lot with  organizational development, talent development and training.
I have assisted colleagues and friends in their challenges and have had my own life crises both personally and professionally.

People, relationships and processes have always interested me. What gives an individual increased quality of life, faith, feeling of mastery, personal growth and development? Why does some teams outperform others? What factors influence our ability to function optimally?

My experience, both personally and as a Coach, is that increased awareness and insight about oneself, our surroundings as well as our own thoughts on what is happening, what has happened and can happen, affect our ability to adapt to the changes in our lives and in our surroundings.

Today I am committed to use my life experience and education to benefit others in their journey - professional and/ or personal.

I have an attitude towards people and teams that is based on that you are indeed resourceful. .

There are no unresourceful people, only unresourceful states. You're the expert of your life and I'm of mine. I have my strategy and you have yours.

At the same time I know that life happens, challenges and road blocks occur. With this in mind I believe it is important to have acceptance that it is OK to go through rough times, it is OK to struggle. For me, this understanding of acceptance has made my "guard" lower providing me with easier access to the resources and tools I need to stay more balanced in life.

As your Coach I am present with respect, steady expertise, empathy , good intentions and I also bring in humor when appropriate.  I listen actively and ask questions that lead to reflection. This contributes to a future- and result-oriented process that generates insight, awareness, motivation, learning and action.
